What Is Good About the Economic Crisis?

Article by Masha Malka.

I found it very interesting that in the last few days most of the people I came across are EXCITED about the economic “crisis”! One of my friends even made a toast to it during the New Year celebration and everyone at the table cheered and agreed.

Those people who are excited about the current economic status in the world as well as their own (even if they are out of work and have $1 to their name), are the people who will have an amazing year, attracting opportunities, money, great relationships and happiness… and if they don’t, they will still be happy and excited about their life!

Why?

Because it is not what happens to us that determines how we feel. How you feel has NOTHING to do with the current economic status or what is going on in your personal life; the way others treat you or what happens to you.

How you feel has to do with how YOU treat yourself – how you interpret what happens to you and the thoughts that you are thinking or a regular basis. YOU are the one who attaches meaning to everything that happens in your life and the world, creating emotions that not only determine how you feel on a regular basis but also manifest experiences into your life again and again and again.

Stop for a second and think about the quality of your life right now. What are you thinking? What are you manifesting?

There are lots and lots of opportunities out there. And it is not just about making more money, it is about making more money doing what you love; feeling great about yourself and what you do; feeling like you make a difference in your life and the life of others.

Action
No matter how negative a particular situation might appear to you, ask yourself, “What is good about it?” “How can I use it to my advantage?” “How does it help me understand who I am and what I want?”

If the circumstances you are in do not make you happy, get clear about what will make you happy and do something every day that will bring you closer to your new reality.

George Bernard Shaw wisely said, “People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them.”
